Permits and Inspections for Post Ice Storm related damage
The Building Inspections Department will not be charging permit fees for Residential permits on damage caused by the Ice Storm for the next 2 weeks. All permits that fall in this category must have the Building Official sign off prior to being issued without a fee assessed. These permits will also be expedited through the process to get the work started and finished in a timely manner. Although expedited, these permits must meet all criteria as required by normal permit.

Effective September 30, 2013 hand tags will no longer be left on jobsites. You must access your inspection results by using the NEW Contractor Web site.
Energy Inspectors, the new City of Wylie Energy verification form is now available for you to use. We will continue to accept the old form until November 1, 2013.
