Wylie Recreational Center Arrive a few minutes early to place out your seeds. Bulbs and cuttings also welcome. Come even if you don’t have seeds to bring. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and offer scheduled demos to get you started on the garden of your dreams. Suitable for adults and families. Contact the Library’s Help Desk for information on what to bring, types of seeds accepted, and more. Please limit your time with a Master Gardener to no more than 10 minutes.

Culture Fest: Japan
March 21 & 24
Our first biennial mini culture fest features the land of the rising sun. We kick off March 21 at the special start time of 6:45 p.m. with an introduction to Kabuki Theater by Kent Williams. Kabuki Theater is suitable for older children and up. The festivities on the 24th, with offerings for all ages, run through the day, capped off with the Japanese tea ceremony.
Registration required for certain events and will open March 1.
March Literary Madness
Vote on our Facebook page during the month for which best circulating book of 2017 will become the champ. Each week winners of the first round will advance. Many of these titles are great suggestions for our reading challenges, including Read More categories.
